Regarding grains: Triumph used “stag” grain vinyls thru the 1972 model year. “Longhorn“ (aka 1290) grain was used from 1973 to 1976. “Stag” grain then returned for the remainder of the Spitfire run. If available, seat kits are supplied in the correct grain for their model year. Matador Red and Light Tan are only available in “stag” grain. Beige and Chestnut are only available in “longhorn” grain. Please get in touch if you have questions.
